Jersey’s Scott Eastwood won the open division of the Seb Sharpe Memorial contest held at St Ouens Bay in Jersey on the 19th of November is classic 6 foot plus conditions.
The Seb Sharpe Memorial is an annual event held to celebrate the life of a talented local surfer who died tragically in a motorbike accident in France in 2004. Having run the other divisions in the summer, contest organisers opted to wait for prime conditions to run the highly competetive open division and it was a decision that paid off as competitors were rewarded with a 6 foot plus ground swell with favourable winds and good weather.
