Hi Guys,
Had a few good Thurso trips this year: new year saw some really uncrowded conditions at Thurso East and some of the less popular reefs followed up by another trip soon after to the beaches West of Thurso. The DIVA 5/4/3 proved to be a great suit for Winter, quick drying and really warm. Getting back into the DIVA 4/3mm wetty for some longboarding and lots of fishy days on the East Coast. Me and some of the Joxy crew headed to some quiet islands on the West coast in April and scored some double overhead clean conditions on the Easter weekend.
Next week is another Joxy trip to Ireland’s mid west, hopefully to look down some barrels at dawn!
There has been quite a lot going on with the younger generation the mini Joxies, taking lassies out on a Friday afternoon for fun and for free and we’ve got a good wee crew, getting better at surfing now. Been mixing it up with a bit of coasteering too (also good in the spare DIVA suit cos it gets ripped up a bit on the rocks!)
