Hope you are having a good year so far and the wind is better and the swell for you next week. It was a wild week in Thurso with surf up to 22ft in between squalls and hurricane winds gusting 60mph after new year! I surfed some nice sheltered point breaks sometimes in passing hail storms so violent you couldn’t see land! Still it was a really fun week and new year celebrations on Thurso high street were very entertaining meeting some interesting local characters! I used the Circle One Traction tail pad and it felt great on the steeper drops. Excited to go to Lanza in a couple of weeks and get into some consistent waves and less harsh conditions for a bit!
